What I do
I make storefronts work for people who browse with screen readers and keyboards — and conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA, the standard referenced in ADA website lawsuits and the settlements that end them. The work is real theme code on Shopify, BigCommerce, and custom builds: text alternatives, form labels, heading structure, keyboard operability, focus management, accessible names. Not an overlay widget — overlays appear in complaints, not in fixes.
How an engagement runs
- Free audit. A page-by-page findings list for your core purchase flow, each item mapped to the WCAG criterion it fails — tested the way a plaintiff's expert tests, with the code and a screen reader. Yours to keep either way.
- Fixed-scope remediation — flat $1,450, about a week, homepage through checkout. Larger or custom builds are quoted before anything starts, and the quote is the price. The full scope is public.
- Retest and letter. A dated remediation summary mapping every fix to WCAG 2.1 AA — the document your attorney can use in settlement discussions, or your team keeps on file.
If you've just been sued
- How did you know about my case? Federal filings are public the moment they're entered. Verify any case yourself on pacer.gov, the courts' official system, or CourtListener, a nonprofit archive. Better: read your own docket in ten minutes.
- Are you connected to the plaintiffs? No — to no plaintiff, court, or law firm, on any side. I fix websites.
- Lawyer or you? Lawyer, first and always. They handle the case; I handle the code. The conformance obligation these cases end with exists either way — someone has to actually build it.
